I read the article on Krisseś Internet Tablet School about using USB host mode to plug a standard keyboard into the N800 (http://tabletschool.blogspot.com/200...-ordinary.html). Sounded simple, so I bought a $5 female-to-female usb connector & followed the directions.

When I plugged in my old imac keyboard, an error message began to flash intermittently: ¨usb hub not supported¨.

Any ideas? Do I need another kind of keyboard?

imac keybboards have usb hub built into them, thats what the nit is seeing. the keyboard should work though. you may have to use a regular usb keyboard.

I use an imac keyboard with my n800, and it works fine, just ignore the usb hub error, a device not supported SHOULD come up afterwards. The hub part of the keyboard still works, even with the error, I use my keyboard while also using a flash drive, it's not very reliable though, it kicks me off every once and a while when using both.
