I had been looking for a Stock price watch and ticker app for the ITT, but sadly none was available.

Then the idea stuck that since anyways a stock app would have to be online app - why not look for one of those iPhone web apps
and sure enough there are 2 choices i found

http://iphone.fidelitylabs.com/index.php

and

http://iphone.toughturtle.com/stockwatch/

With both of course (particularly the fidelity app) you need to change the useragent on the browser to make it spoof a iPhone useragent.

Works pretty well on the NIT in both landscape and portrait mode.

I found a home applet called Stock Plugin. Not a löt of options but does show actual quotes. Menus are in french only but I managed the setup.

Unfortunately I don't have link anymore. But it might have been on maemo garage.

Yes, I should have clarified I was also after a charting app.

the Stock plugin applet you mentioned works flawlessly in getting stock quotes, but is limited to only that (considering its an applet and not a app, thats fine). But it does not show charts (basic) and no news on the selected tickker. this is where the web app comes in.

but as I type this thru the BT connection over 3G, I see that the fidelity app just doesnt respond at these speeds (my network shows edge actually).

But at home over wifi it was working fine.
