Hi,

Maybe I don't understand something but when I try installing the deb (dsniff and aircrack-ng) from the first post, here is the output :

dpkg -i aircrack-ng_0.5-1_arm.deb
dpkg: error processing aircrack-ng_0.5-1_arm.deb (--install):
package architecture (arm) does not match system (armel)
Errors were encountered while processing:
aircrack-ng_0.5-1_arm.deb

Am I doing something wrong?

This thread rocks!!!! Very interesting stuff that I will have to try out.
My question for everyone is: Does anyone know if any of these programs displays the signal strength of the surrounding access point and or stations?

That feature of kismet may not work w/ the Nokia
When I tried that feature on mine it said that the wireless card wasn't giving signal strengths or something like that

I get the same issue. no signal strength is being reported (all -1's) any suggestions? maybe a recompiling of the driver?

if recompilation were that easy, we might have packet injection by now!
there may be nothing you can do.
Which .deb did you use?

you could install something like homewifilevel, although it only shows your current connections strengtth.
It is pretty precise though

Compiled. It does require a few dependencies. All those can be found by searching on gronmayer but you won't find libdnet there. So I compiled that too.

Run as root.
