I can't seem to get my wired connection over USB to work. I have reinstalled usbLAN_0.2.1_armel.deb and dbus-scripts_1.0.3_armel.deb, but when i go to change connection I no longer get the "WIRED" option. Anyone else had this problem?

Storing the satellites in view won't work. The GPS satellites are not in geosynchronous orbits, they're in lower polar orbits, and constantly move from north to south, with westward movement as the earth spins. The satellites in view anywhere on the earth are constantly changing, so the GPS has to know what satellites are in view depending on the location and the date and time. The normal way to figure this out is by downloading data from satellites, but that takes time because the GPS has no idea which satellites are in view. Using AGPS, the receiver can quickly get an almanac and ephemeris data over the cell connection, as well as a very close approximation of its position, and thus know which satellites to use. Most receivers can store the almanac data and know which satellites are in view provided it hasn't been moved since the last time it had a fix, and provided it hasn't been too long, because only so much data is provided in the almanac.

Ok, I'm going to take the plundge. Any idea when a kernel can be created from diablo that can support the screen rotate option?? I think thats the only thing that I will be missing since Fanoush already updated his boot menu.

I have the exact same issue. Seems that this update was not ready for prime time.

I did the fix suggested by Matyas, using apt-get. Now the only package it says is missing is osso-ic (>1.0.0)

Is anyone else having trouble installing Rhapsody? Has anyone else succeeded installing it?

I followed Matyas's really helpful advice.

But now still get:

Thinking its the backup causing the problems I reflash and try to install rhapsody on a fresh system but exactly the same problem as before.

Has anyone else been able to install Rhapsody?
For what it is worth....I am having the same exact Rhapsody insall problems as kudos1uk is having. I sure hope this can be figured out ASAP as I use Rhapsody for most of my audio needs...

Anyone have more info on the osso-ic missing package?

I just re-flashed and am watching the app manager re-install my apps.

So far, this is wonderful. I've had time to peruse this thread while going through the re-flash/re-nstall and it seems that comments are largely favorable!

Just the ease of rebuilding the IT is worth it, and seeing that this will set the standard, I add my thanks to the Nokia team listening and for continuing to improve this product. Please, keep up the good work!

UPDATE: Be forewarned. It seems that if you use PenguinBait's install-tools deb to clone diablo to sd this rotation support will be borked. Someone smarter than me will have to tell you whether and when you'll be able to have both at the same time...

UPDATE 2: Problem fixed. After using PB's install-tools deb, reinstall this, this, and this. (These are xomap, xrandr, and auto install debs from here.) Then reboot. Rotation restored.

Note that things may be totally different for rotation implemented via sliderotate (which is not the method I'm using).
