Hmm, libsqlite0 should be installed when you install gpe-calendar.

In any case it is available from the Maemo-extras repository, which should already be configured in the repositories list. I really don't remember if on an out-of-the-box N800 maemo-extras is already configured?

I was installing the other way round (Erminig first - gpe after).
Everything went smooth, installed GPE + Erminig.

This is really cool - sync is fantastic - and with GPE's home screen, it's a bliss

I don't know about the N810, but on the N800 there is a setting for auto capitalization. Control Panel, Text Input, check or uncheck Handwriting case correction. If it's checked, the first letter of a sentence is capitalized automatically, including pretty much every entry. If it's unchecked, that doesn't happen, at least on my device.

I just did it on the N810...way cool....

I flashed to Diablo, and installing the new erminig package was much easier this time around. Thank you!

I did notice one potential bug: all day events in google are showing up one week late, once imported to GPE.

Hmmm, this one is new for me. Do you have step-by-step instruction to reproduce this? I never got reports about such a bug....

lorelei - thank you for taking up the erminig development and support. I know that the previous developer said that syncing GPE-Contacts to the Google contacts was difficult, and that he had no interest in it. Based upon your experience with erminig and the Google API to date, does such a sync for the contacts appear feasible? Thanks again for picking up the erminig support and development!

Yes, this seems to affect all-day events originally created in GPE. This was particularly noticeable on recurring, non-weekly events (for example, bi-weekly or every three weeks events). (I reflashed without backing up--I didn't care because I knew that my GPE calendar was backed up via google. So, I used erminig to recreate my GPE calendar upon reflash). Anyway, this would be an approximation of what happened:

1. Create an all day event in GPE (typically for me, something scheduled to recur once every three weeks), in Chinook
2. Run the old version of erminig to synchronize GPE & Google
3. Reflash tablet to Diablo
4. Re-install GPE, start with blank slate calendar
5. Install latest version of erminig
6. Re-import all day event from google using erminig
