I'm trying to make my N800 becoming an usb host.
I bought an USB port hub, I thought it could replace the OTG connector USB.
But, might it doesn't work well as my imagination.

I have upgraded my N800 to Diablo OS version(does it include the OTG driver?). and I got root in X-teminal, enter this following command to force my N800 into USB host mode :
Code:
echo host > /sys/devices/platform/musb_hdrc/mode
This step well done.
But when I connect a usb storage, nothing happened.
I connect a keyboard, the lead light flashed, but I can work with it.
The USB tray icon doesn't appear.

Anybody help me?
Thank you.

You might need a powered USB hub, since the N800 doesn't provide much power on its own.

You probably need power for the keyboard...

Try using a small memory stick, they usually draw very little power.

or, use a USB hub with external AC power

Well, I'm not sure I'm getting a clear picture of what connections you're trying to use, but if you're attempting to connect the N800 to a downstream port, and devices to other downstream ports, it can't work.
