I have a problem.
Am running version 3.0.32 ( and plugins) in Diablo.
Playing is fine but download button does nothing - nada - no download.
Any idea what might be wrong?
Tried removing and reinstalling but no luck.
TIA

You need both primary.db and myvideos.db. Unzip the new primary3.db.zip into pirmary.db and myvideos.db and replace both files in your videocenter, (/home/user/videocenter, file manager will do that just fine) you will then be able to stream and dl at your choice. Please post back your result. I got the same problem with diablo.

I know padding your own back is like blowing your horn, but, truely, I enjoy this videocenter and worldTV99 thing. These are the two programs I must run every day, not as a project but as purely for my own enjoyment, in addition to my business use of gnumeric.

Last night, I watched 10,000 maniacs MTV unplugged on KissTV from WorldTV99 via my stereo system, Natalie and the orchestra/symphonies are so beautiful... and her voice just rock. WorldTV99 is going to have an improvement in a few days, there will be more audio visual coming.....

Still plays fine but doesn't download.

Those that turn green 'Play' by itself without you download them, they wont play and wont dl. Inside Sony Pictures from Nokia is one of them. Otherwise, all others, stream and dl fine for me on N810/diablo. I also have to install both primary.db and myvideos.db in order for it to work.

N810/N800/Diablo/MMC boot etc? Mind to just install a flash copy of videocenter and see whether problem persisted? I am running N810 and N800, both flash/MMC boot/ Diablo, so far it is fine.

I noticed that the already green ones wouldnt play or download.
For me none of them download.
I am running Diablo on an N800 ordinary installation, nothing fancy.
Not to worry though, there arent many things I want to download and am happy that the streaming works so well using Mplayer.

I am sorry that you still have problem in dl. I have that problem for a few hours before I realize one has to copy the myvideos.db too. Without dl, you are missing an important venue as dl copies sometimes play significantly smooth then streaming. If it is NOT too much of work, I would say a copy of the primary.db and myvideos.db to somewhere else and re install the videocenter and see if there is any problem. If there is no problem, then you can safely recopy back the primary.db and myvideos.db back in place and re-gain your dl option. I did it before and it should work.

That problem stems from a bad videocopy and it is difficult to iron out which is the cultprit.

OK - thanks - I tried again (an interesting learning experience)
Uninstalled videocenter.
Then deleted the home/user/videocenter folder, the mmc1 and mmc2 videocenter folders.
Installed videocenter and it streams and downloads with no problems.
Copied the home/user/videocenter folder to my PC
Replaced myvideos.db and primary.db files.
Now videocenter will not run. At all.
Deleted the videocenter folder and copied the original folder back.
It runs but wont download which puzzles me.
Back to the beginning.

My setting is for downloads to external drive.
So I see there is a myvideos.db file both in the home/user/videocenter folder and in the videocenter folder on mmc1.
I tried replacing both but no way can I get the download working with the replacement files.
I am using ssh and doing all the transfers from my PC - shouldnt affect things should it.

The myvideos.db and the primary.db has to be perfect match. If by any chance, one of them is corrupt, that is going to happen like what you described. I would suggest to redownload the thing and replace, again, both of them at the same time, then refresh. I did that as a user some time back and it worked. Post results please.

Still no luck.
Here is what I have tried:
Deleted myvideo.db and primary.db from home/user/videocenter
Run videocenter.
It runs, downloads and streams from the 2 default sites rocketboom etc and it recreated primary and myvideos in the above folder.
Replaced them with the files in the primary3.db zip file (downloaded twice from the first post in the thread) - tried in various orders - both, one at a time, just one etc
Also replaced the myvideo.db in the mmc1 folder.
In all cases it either doesn't run at all, or runs, streams but doesn't download.
What a mystery.
Because it runs without myvideo.db and primary.db at all does it recreate them or is there another copy somewhere else.
Thanks again for you efforts to solve this problem.
