Is there anyway to internally increase the volume in Canola?

Other than the sliders of course.

All replies are appreciated.

First make sure that you've increased the system volume up all the way (outside of Canola on the home page). Beyond that, there's a tweak you can use by setting Canola to use mplayer & then twiddling with mplayer's settings (which I've previously tried. Search the forums), but IMHO a much better solution is to get a pair of noise canceling ear/head phones. My $25 pair of jvc ear buds were THE best investment I ever made towards listening to music & videos on my tablet. HTH

I find that if I use the desktop app to play internet radio, I have to turn the volume all the way up before stopping the stream of my canola volume will be very low. This has worked for me, hope it helps you.

not sure if this still applies after several canola upgrades, but fwiw:

Note, I think the name of the relevant mplayer config file has changed. It is now just "config", and is located at /home/user/.mplayer
