well, douche-baggery is reserved for people who argue on the internet... so if you find fault with me or my comments... you're a douche bag!

hence the reason I freely admit I am a douche bag. :P

Ok, so for the not as techie person who just wants a simple answer

1. A2DP is something that is here in terms of a patched solution?
2. This solution is not yet at the point of installing a single .deb (or application) and enabling the headphones and go?
3. A2DP is currently a solution that only works in some apps and not across the entire ITOS?

Those are all yes/no answers, and I think should be able to catch the ah-ha moment of those looking for similar but who might have gotten lost in this thread a bit.

It is not implemented because they chose not to....simple as that. It's a BT profile and their BT chipset is more than capable. Similar to their DSP and PowerVR development initiatives. They just don't want to do it.

Oh, and devs, prove me wrong....with FACTS. No quasi-hints, no speculation, you know damn well why, just tell us.

Oh, and I'll be there in Berlin to bust your balls, so you had better start coming up with official answers.

Mutiny32,
we all want everything working on the device, but I think threatening physical violence against people is the wrong direction completely.

Especially when those people aren't responsible for the decision making process behind including A2DP.

It's the managers you're after, not the engineers that are largely fighting for the same things we are (you just don't know because they can't talk about it).

Its neither the managers or the engineers.

Making full use of the hardware inside our machines is paramount to me. i hate seeing things go to waste. We *NEED* the help of the very people hes threatening to get us documentation.

We all get frustrated with lack of action, but Rome wasn't built in a day and I am seeing very positive movements from the people that matter.

DSP work is ongoing, discussion about pvr is ongoing - I think its just a waiting game for now.
