This is my first negative post on ts forum, and I apologize for that.
But everyone I've called gets mad at me for calling with Gizmo because of the delay between when they speak and when it gets to me. haven't been able to have even 1 complete talk with anyone before they want to hang up citing an 'echo', a pause, or weird static. hat good is 'free' when people won't chat with you for using it?
It's purpose IS for chat, but it's foibles turn people off from using it....
Just my own experience so far.

My experience is that it is better quality than the average mobile phone. Also the quality of the call is much better when you use headphones rather than use it like a speakerphone. Not better than a landline though unless you are talking Gizmo-to-Gizmo.
