I launched his .install file and then modified the repo, adding chinook to the distribution line (which was empty) and everything is working fine now.

I have Vista Ultimate 32 with SP1 and other updates found in MS update.
The install says: "MCE Guru Server can only be installed on Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium or Ultimate Edition." And so the setup fails.
