Fennec m6 seems to be available already:
http://people.mozilla.com/~pavlov/fennec/m6/

Has anyone been able to have it working?

Even after installing xulrunner_1.9.1a2pre_armel.deb, Fennec 0.6 won't install :/

Cheers,
Max

Did you run fennec_0.6_armel.deb first and let it install xulrunner_1.9.1a2pre_armel.deb?

download both .debs (instructions are for external mmc and n810)
run xterm
type in:

root
cd /media/mmc1
dpkg -i xulrunner_1.9.1a2pre_armel.deb
dpkg -i --force-depends fennec_0.6_armel.deb

now you have fennec installed. it works, takes some seconds to start and crashes a lot... and it have the new finger-friendly theme

# dpkg -i fennec_0.6_armel.deb
Selecting previously deselected package fennec.
(Reading database ... 20753 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking fennec (from fennec_0.6_armel.deb) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of fennec:
fennec depends on xulrunner (>= 1.9.1a2pre-2008073000); however:
Version of xulrunner on system is 1.9.1a2pre.
dpkg: error processing fennec (--install):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
fennec

I try this
sudo gaunroot
dpkg -i --force-all fennec_0.6_armel.deb

Thanks for your replies!

That one worked for me: dpkg -i --force-all fennec_0.6_armel.deb

Would it be possible for someone with it installed to post screenshots for those of us who may be contemplating installing it just to see how it looks

I am also curious to see how the scrolling performance is now-- I tried the last build that was posted here and it was so slow (expected) that it was unusable, but a great step forward in UI compared to the built-in browser. (No offense, it's just not very finger friendly to me for some reason)

Either way, I still have to copy my root to my SD card... I've only got 3mb left in my root filesystem!

EDIT: I should have looked UP

Where I can setup proxy? MicroB can browse, but fennec cannot.

Wow, we must have posted and updated at the same time

Thank you.. I'm off to make space on my device so I can try this out...

Maybe when they start using DirectFB it'll be a lot faster (or that could have been ruled out already, I just read it in the Mozilla Fennec wiki)

ok, here is another one in 800x480 (not attached image, but linked image)

edit: you get the left tab-bar by clicking the drop-down menu button on the keyboard
edit2: it seems that starting via xterm by typing in "fennec" causes in a little bit less crashing.
