the thing was that it was black keys on a white background, not black on black like the felicia one is.

strange about the spacebar tho, does it have its own graphics file?

That *is* echowb

Well, it was just a straight move of the adria keyboard graphics after mounting it up on my computer.

The name of the spacebar file must have changed in os2008. If I have time to fix the spacebar, I'll release the deb.

I messed things up even more trying to put the black spacebar in. I don't think I will be able to fix that.
So I attach up the version with the white statusbar.
I also uploaded the theme folder from Os2007 for those of you who lack linux to mount the os2007 jffs image up . http://www.filedropper.com/defaulttar

(To repack the deb, use ar OR dpkg-deb -b etc)

did a quick bit of poking around using kde and ssh, and found that there are 5 files:

qgn_plat_inputmet_button_key_space_disabled.png
qgn_plat_inputmet_button_key_space_normal.png
qgn_plat_inputmet_button_key_space_pressed.png
qgn_plat_inputmet_button_key_special_normal.png
qgn_plat_inputmet_button_key_special_pressed.png

that shows up in echowb, but is not around in the files in your tar, qwerty12...

and while in the process of finding that out, i ended up turning my keyboard all black :S

now then, how to tune the color of those letters. let me guess, gtkrc?

Hmm, that could explain a lot. I don't know if those files are generated when you flash the tablet or in a different folder. I'll take another look, thanks.
