Since yesterday, my 770 has been experiancing some graphical oddities. Basically a lot of graphical elements are "missing".

- Buttons do not draw, but the text on them does, and they work.
- The side bar has no background (appears white).
- Menus have no border or background (white).
- Home applets have no borders or background, their contents appear directly on the background.
- Window borders do not draw (white).

I have not installed any extra themes, I have tried changing the theme, even deleting the entire ~/.osso directory, rebooted several times, etc.

The problem did not coinside with any install or settings change.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a "hard reboot" (shut down, take battery out, wait a couple of minutes -- or an hour if paranoid and start up again)?

Nope, sorry. I've had a similar problem, but only with the status bar icons of Opera, and the reboot fixed that.

Reflashing? Painful, but not -too- bad with a backup.

Is there anyway to backup the installed applications? Even a list of them would be handy...

there is a list of the installed applications on the application manager,
but when u download them from the web, iits best to store a copy of the installer file on a pc, so u can easily transfer the programs from ur pc that u use, instead of finding and downloading again from net

-makes sence??

No. The 770 is an Internet tablet. Using a pc as backup is -- like -- so nineties.
