I've tried to install e2fsprogs on my N800 which is with the latest software. When I try to install it i get this message.

/home/user/ # apt-get install e2fsprogs
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree

Do as it suggests and run

apt-get -f install
This should fix your problem
