You can try to install via apt-get as well from the terminal. Its always in a kind of "red pill" state.

1) apt-get update
2) apt-get install x11vnc
(or to get all updates - apt-get -u upgrade)

I download a package named x11vnc_0.9.3.dfsg.1-1_armel.deb,when I install it in the tablet, it's failed with the same information (dependency issues)!!!

PLS de me a favor! Thanks million!

go here https://garage.maemo.org/projects/x11vnc/

Get the .deb package, put it somewhere in your tablet.
open xterm and go to that directory. Type "dpkg -i x11vnc_0.9.3-1_armel.deb"

That should install it. If not, then I am at a loss as to help further.

What are the exact dependency libs its looking for?

I followed what you said, but still couldn't install successfully!

"dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of x11vnc:
x11vnc depends on libss10.9.7 is not installed.
dpkg: error processing x11vnc(--install):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
x11vnc"

start x11vnc on your n810 from menu. note that there is no indication if x11vnc is running or not. start vncviewer on your debian and connect to n810's ip address. ip address can found for example using homeip applet.

I install xtightvncviewer on Debian, and I want to connect to N810 from pc by the usb port, and now I have already configured the usb port IP address! I could use "ping" successfully!

Now I want to know how to complete the connection???

Thanks all!

Now I use ssh to complete this connection:

step1: In the 810 shell I run x11vnc like this :
Nokia-N810-23-14:~# x11vnc -display :0

Maybe try to start applications as user, not root.
There is no need for root priviledges.

Even on your PC, why do you start the viewer as root? This is really bad habit!

I also installed x11vnc and it appeared in the extras list, but it did not start.
Then I started it from the cmd line in xterm which returned some text and then I connected from the PC with a vnc viewer but nothing.
