I am using my bluetooth mobile phone as a modem for my 770. I am subscribed to my mobile carriers edge data plan.
I have my 770 and phone paired correctly using bluetooth, but for some reason I still can't access the internet using packet data. (I have followed the instructions posted elsewhere in this forum)
The weird thing is that I CAN access the internet when I setup the connection and select "Data Call" instead of "packet data".
I also thought I was supposed to "dial-in" to an ISP to use the data call mode, but I am just using a GPRS dial-up string my carrier gave me. (*99#)
Does anybody know if there is actually any difference between the two? ("packet data" and "data call")
