Hi, I recently installed penguinbait's clone OS to MMC deb and am running OS2008 on the N810's internal 2GB memory. My question is should I enable the extend virtual memory function when running the tablet on the MMC?

I read it somewhere that enabling the extended virtual memory will corrupt the memory cards, but want to make sure if it that'0s the case.

Any reply or suggestion is appreciated.

No, that's not the case.

Swap is fine and generally should be enabled. Naturally, with flash being a limited-write medium, and the internal MMC being non-replacable, there's a cost there, but most people find it better anyway.
