While it's technically violating the TOS, what isn't? On Verizon, they specifically state that you can't use EVDO for anything "that you would use a Wi-Fi hotspot for". With that said, I'm much happier paying $15/mo. for their "unlimited" (read: 5GB, same as everyone else) V Cast plan rather than $60/mo. for the same exact thing (Broadband Access Connect).

OK, after further phone discussions w/ T-Mo and some email with a guy at HoFo it looks like a Nokia 3555 and T-mobile web is the first step, and although it's not listed on their site for that phone an upgrade to Total Internet for $13 more.

When I clicked on that link, it brought me to the Simply Everything plan, not the Sero plan.

Edit: I guess the SERO plan is basically no longer in existence, except for people who got into it earlier, like me. But this quoted line still doesn't apply to the SERO plan, but to its current equivalent.
