Hi

I am still rather new to this but I was wondering if there was a SFTP application that would let me browse files on my home server via my N810?

I currently log into my desktop (mac) from my laptop via sftp and have access to all of my files whilst on the road and would like to do the same with the N810.

Any suggestions?

I have installed Openssh but don't really know how to use it.

Thanks

Steve

Thanks for taking the time to help, but MaemoFTP doesn't seem to support Sftp.

I can't find a os2008 version of Gftp either.

Thanks though.

Seems like it would be both useful and possible for the Maemo File Manager to talk to an ftp or sftp client for displaying remote files in exactly the same way that it does with Bluetooth-FTP for interacting with remote files.

Though, I wonder if it already supports SMB, which you could export from a Mac, PC, or Linux box.

You can also use sshfs and mount the server somewhere under MyDocs for example so that the filemanager can see it but that's hardly convenient. And I'm not sure if there's sshfs for diablo yet.

Thanks again, all seems a bit complicated at the moment for a novice like me.

I will keep checking back though as I'm sure someone will want it soon
