Is there an easy way to port this app to maemo ? If someone cums up with a woring GPS tracking Software that will not lockup and stop working i am willing to pay for it . Right now i been testing it ith maemo mapper and Gpstracer gpstracer seems to work but locks up 5 min into driving !

http://www.opengts.org/

I have my php server runing and hosting an rss feed for kml files to maps.google.com works nice if you export from maemo mapper .. But i just need an easy app to send gps data every fey min to an ftp server where i do not have to upload it on y own.. something that is auto !!

Thanks

Well, it's Java, so on the one hand, no porting needed. On the other hand, you've got to get Java running. You can either do the Jalimo thing, or use Debian, or roll your own. (The former are far easier, but I don't know which is easiest/best for this.)

Upgate I found that i can use GPSgate.com for my tracking needs from my n810 . update right over http like this http://online.gpsgate.com/gpsgate.as...ei=00000000000 " replace 00000000000 with your own IMEI I just used my cell phone number " you can also update via user name and pass.

Now i need help makeing an APP that will auto update this URL with my GPS info . every 230 sec or so . maybe some one can send me some info on how i can pull this data in this format !

Thanks
