Mine does that too, there's a very simple and way to get rid of it. Press the back button that is physically on your Internet Tablet.

Thanks for that, But how do I get the Close button in the dialog like in BrentDC's Pidgin. This is indeed strange as both versions are the same..2.5.1. I wonder if BrentDC is running Diablo.

BrentDC will have to answer that question for himself, but as far as that goes, I get a 'Close' button on the About... dialog on my N800, and I'm running Diablo (latest).

I'm running the latest Diablo here. I think I remember getting that Close button when I was running Chinook, too.

The only thing I can think of is that I also have "Easy-Debian" installed; I know that messes with Matchbox a bit. briand, do you happen to also have Easy-Debian installed?

I, too have a N800 running a "clean" Diablo install. My Pidgin is the same revision and I don't have the Close button visible either.

Maybe some other application is pre-empting at a higher level? OM Weather, advanced-backlight, large-statusbar-clock or load-applet perhaps?

I accepted the OS2008 Feature upgrade (ver 4.2008.36-5)...could that be the difference?

Or maybe one of the more subtler libraries visible only in red pill mode?

Well, I also have OM Weather, advanced-backlight, large-statusbar-clock, and load-applet on my fully OS-upgraded N800, and I do have a visible Close button...
