On the Nokia 770 site, it says the 770 will play MPEG-4 video. I will assume (yeah... I know what that means) that there is only one MPEG-4 format that it will play... AVI ( or is that really MPEG-4?). I thought that mp4 was MPEG-4... am I wrong?

I may have missed something... but couldn't find any info via a search here.

770 can play .3gp files which contains MPEG-4 standard with .amr or .aac audio but there is limitations what kind of files it can play, e.g. resolution, Framerates...

I think .avi can contain many kind of codecs and formats just like .mp4
