Installed the lastest YouAmp music player ver 0.5.2. Getting close to my perfect "simple" music player. I like how I can tell it to default to just one music folder. In "Preferences" I have no idea what those additional db settings do. At first try, the last.fm login gives me a "Wrong login data" error, then it displayed "connected". I have now idea also how to play from the last.fm server. Finally, there is just one option I would like to see on any of the music players, a graphical display of pretty, flashing lights!

One more feature request. I am only interested in having the full title of the songs displayed. It would be nice if I could disable the "Artist" and the "Album" columns.

I think that YouAmp can scrobble what you play to Last.fm, but not actually play Last.fm radio...Again, I've never tried using YouAmp to do this.

Anyways, the tablets already have a great Last.fm client: Vagalume (it really rocks).

Haven't tryed Vagalume, but I do enjoy using the Last-FM plug-in in Canola. I like the extra large album covers.

YouAmp has changed for the better. I think you will like it. To direct it to my music I go to "Preferences" then "general" then I can browse both SD memory cards and choose the folder with my music. Earlier versions went through and did a scan looking for music files in all of your folders.
