Ok so it seems alot of people are looking for power options for their nXXX's on the go. So I took the liberty of *using* my girlfriends credit card, and by that I mean My credit card found in HER purse..... I digress.

3 options I use. For camping, travel by Bus and plane.
Key notes, alway take your AC adapter, You may need it. And above all make sure it is fully charged before you go. Along with external power packs. Ok I have two Soldius Solar Panels, 89.99 on mysoldius.com But I got these from buy.com for 19.99 each, You can't pick your color so I got one black and one white. But for a $70 savings on each I can deal. And one Tekkeon mp1800 power supply. Again 20 bucks from Buy.com. Tigerdirect.com has them also, same price. Both of these can be used to power a bunch of crap. iPods, Zunes, Blackberrys and pretty much any phone or device with a MiniUSB plug.

1. Camping. Nuff said, Middle of the App's in Perry county PA no power, But it is nice to watch a movie with your girl in the tent when it is 40 degrees out side.

Running the two solar panels into a USB Hub in through the USB in and the External power adapter port. Output in direct sunlight is about 615mha with both together. I run that into the Tekkon and charge it. That ran into the Nokia. You can almost get 17 hours of steady movie watching out of this set up. I have used it about 10 hours strait when it was raining one day while camping. The 17 hour test was at home.

2. The Bus (damn Greyhounds.....) Cheap way to visit old Navy Buddys that live in C.A Down side is the 24 hour bit between PA and CA.
*****This also works great on planes. Any one flying to Japan any time soon? I have..... way to much time in the air....

So I use my Asus Eee 1000h that already gets about 7 hours of battery life, I just put it in suspend and feed off the USB in to the Nokia I have ran it for 35 hours just on this alone. I figure since when I get there I will need my laptop anyway It is a good source of power. THis can be used by almost any laptop.

OK so So these are my go-to methods of powering up my n800. I hope that it helps those that need more time on the go with their Nokias.

if you going for someplace u might not have power , but u still need power to watch tv and charge your tablet .. i think the better choice is the Duracell DPP-600HD Powerpack .. its portable power surce it can go for 8 hours when full charge .. the cons : too heavy 25 pounds..

The Tekkeon on its own can power the Nokia for 9.5-12 hours.
And for 25 pounds while camping, I have a small 8.8 pound 12v geny I picked up in Japan a few years ago. It is made by Robin (Subaru) it is nifty. In 12v2A mode it runs for about 3 hours on 20oz of gas. It will carge my 15.4" gateway laptop only if it is off. but will power it if the batt if already charged. But for 10,000 yen (98 bucks at the time) it was a good buy. Down side is some parks do not allow it during dry conditions. It is sorta quite...ish. From what I can tell it is a large hobby airplane motor. I forget the displacement but the gen motors them self are 2 full "can" RC car motors, I know this since one died I put a Tamiya 550 in it and it works fine.
