Yes, I missed that.

You are right, like new isn't new. Sorry.

I bought from this guy back before he changed the items a bit (I got a different charge cable and no case). The batteries work well. The charger is useful to charge a battery outside the N800 (if you have 2 chargers, charge two at once). I carry the 2 spare batteries in my case and very rarely (as in, never) run out of batteries now. Here's the link (in Hong Kong)

(I should mention that I got TWO batteries, charger, USB-N800 charge cable (Extendable), AND a nice strap for an ID card, all for $14, SHIPPED, from Hong Kong. Hard to beat that.

I just bought 2 more Nokia OEM BP-5l from this pricegrabber storefront. The first battery I bought from them runs longer than the OEM battery delivered in the box with my N800 when it was new. I was concerned when I first got it as the battery terminals had contact scratches on them...used?....but the battery worked fine for $15. Original Cellular has over 4,400 comments rating over 4 stars. They shipped me two more this week in less than a day. We'll see.

As to chargers, I bought several Chinese desktop chargers for BP-5l from www.elcell.co.uk that were so cheap I ordered 4 of them. They use the Nokia cords, both AC or DC, and charge as fast as the tablet, changing their LED indicator when the charge is complete to a different color. All worked great. The ones in my cars run 24/7 to a hot cig socket so they charge the dead cell when I'm out of the car or in. Work great for a couple of bucks, shipped from England. Shield your eyes if you go to the UK site so you aren't blinded by the new N96 staring you in the face making you drool.

Caveat Emptor

I think it means "like original". I suspect it's just like the one from the Pricegrabber storefront and also like the ones from Hong Kong. I prefer to buy from merchants located in the US in case anything goes wrong. Also, it's much more likely that something will go wrong when I order from Hong Kong. So I ordered one of these from Brooklyn.
Thanks to xxM5xx for the link.

I bought one off of AccessoryPost.com for about $25 awhile back. It is a genuine battery and totally outpaced the original N800 battery (charges faster/ keeps tablet on longer), and haven't had an issue with it.
