Hi, I have seen in mojo.handhelds.org that ubuntu packages are available for ARMv5EL architecture.

The Nokia 770 has an ARM9E family processor which seems to be of ARMv5EL architecture ...

Can we use their packages just by adding their repositories to our /ets/apt/sources.list ?

Can we install their distributions ?

I suppose not, but I have been unable to see any post about this...

Does anyone have a positive or negative answer ?

Thx!!

Yes, it's probably possible. Since Deblet runs on 770.. then yes. We might be getting back to this at some point as part of our M-R Proof of Concept work, to see if we can show a decent genericity and provide a platform for 770 as well (M-R PoC is mojo-based.)

It is probably only possible on RS-MMC though.
