Has anyone here tried to boot their N810 off of the linux 2.6.25 kernel + omap patches (available from here http://www.muru.com/linux/omap/)?

I built the kernel within scratchbox, but when I try to boot from it I get a kernel panic.

modify n800_defconfig after omap patch.
CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_FB_OMAP_MANUAL_UPDATE=n
boot is ok. but poor.

Yes, people have been able to boot newer kernels. But not with full WiFi...

The wifi driver should be OSS by now if i remember correctly.

Not the one that comes with the tablet (umac & cx<something>) but the same guy who made those drivers made:
