I was curious to know if either of these apps worked on the 770, has anyone ported it? Or got it working?

Looks like there is a port of GNU-Screen. It's listed under the work in progress section of the Applications Catalog.
From the site:
"GNU screen isn't very useful on the device itself, but it becomes really handy when connected over SSH. Works for Guaka by installing (with dpkg -X [package] /)
* libncursesw5_5.4-4_arm.deb
* libpam0g_0.79-3_arm.deb
* screen_4.0.2-4.1_arm.deb"
I really don't see a reason for screen on the maemo though. I'm going to be sshing from it, not to it. I doubt it will ever be more than one box at a time.

I'm reanimating this thread because I play around with ssh'ing into my N800.
Any debs or reps of screen or dtach for diablo? Just found the old gnu screen entry on maemo.org.
