Hey Folks,

A couple of days ago I was prompted that there was an OS 2008 Feature update. So I ran the update. Now though I notice that when I look at the apps that I can install there are only a handful, where there used to be dozens.

This is my first update so I'm not really sure how this all works. Do the apps need to be updated by the developres before they can be compatible with my updated OS?

Am I better to just restore my backup before I made the OS updates in order to be able to access more apps?

Thanks.

Enable extras from the application catalogue window in the application manager.

Perfect that did the trick. I'd never seen that menu before, I wonder if it was new with that OS update.

No, it's not new. There was just a bug that was causing the Enabled/Disabled setting for Extras to be overwritten. It was fixed in this release, so it wont happen again next update.
