i've downloaded flite from here:
http://repository.maemo.org/extras/p.../free/f/flite/
and installed it with appllications manager's "install from file" (or dpkg -i).
i have diablo and this repository is for chinook, but it works.
I am the new owner of a nokia n810, and so far I am very impressed. I have been playing around with gps, and using maemo-mapper.
My question is, how do I install flite? As far as I understand, flite is required to read directions to you. I am running diablo, and have the maemo extras repository enabled, but I can't find flite via applications manager. Does this have to be installed via apt?
