I have a 770 with OS 2006 (3.2006.49-2). I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to connect to a proxy that requires authentication. I have seen a few people say that it can't be done on the 770, but I'm wondering if any one has figured out a method since then. The reason I ask is because I have have set up a server with HoTTProxy, and hacked my phone to use it, authentication and all. But, when I use my phone as a modem over blue tooth for my 770, I need to set the proxy on my 770, which doesn't support authentication. I'd like to avoid opening my proxy on my server for anyone that happens to stumble on it.
