Nice! That's better.

Since you're another fan of fit-width-to-view, can you believe that the iphone doesn't have this option? If you want to blow up font so you can read it, you've got to horizontal scroll your life away. What a joke!
You've hit on the indispensable feature that keeps me on the tablet instead of an iPod Touch. I'm not a Linux guy, so sometimes I wonder what I'm doing here. My girlfriend switched to a Touch, and I have to say, the UI is brilliant, and the on-screen keyboard is superior. For her, since she's less willing to screw around than I am, it's easier. But my eyes don't like it. I hate having to choose between font size and scrolling, and even when the font is larger, the density of the pixels isn't great enough for me to read at length.

Even better is putting nyt rss feeds into google reader, then accessing them via google reader mobile interface (www.google.com/reader/i). In google reader mobile settings (scroll to bottom of page) choose "Reformat linked web pages for mobile browsers." This will force nyt articles to open automatically in the nyt mobile format. Do this once, then scroll to bottom of nyt mobile article, and select "Single page." Once you do this, your browser should remember to do this in the future.

Now you have a much nicer article to look at than you would with skweezer, with the added benefit of getting a full article view without having to choose "print." Plus, you'll get all the cool abilities that come with google reader, such as starring and sharing articles you like. This is good for keeping track of things you might want to read again.
