Your tablet firmware is completely up to date. Should further upgrades be released, your tablet will automatically find them, notify you of their availability, and offer to download and install them.
1- 'About Product' (in control panel) says my OS is:
maemo Linux bsed OS2008
Version: 5.2008.43-7
So I don't know if my OS is pre Diblo OS2008 or Diablo?
I assume if it's Diablo, OS upgrades are done automatically via application manager.
Any cool version checker?
2- If it's not Diablo and I have to upgrade (http://www.n800blog.com/category/official-news/ ), will the restored version include all app installs and bookmarks/menus/etc. or will there be any missing bits?
3- I spent a while unsuccessfully looking to find abiword on the web but it was in my app-manager installable list (DOH ) with other stuff I had installed before. Which made me notice the list in app-manager's menu (Application Catalogs). Is there a web based resource here or elsewhere that one can find all the cool catalogues I might be missing though there is a lot already and 3 are broken (non refreshable)? I assume maemo oversees that list.
4- The only bit I couldn't find again was the cool app in the status bar replacing the battery gauge which gives all the sysinfo (RAM, diskspace, battery power, mmc, etc.) ALL in one dropdown tab. What/where was it? I also forgot where the large useless 'Getting started movie' was so I can delete it again.
Thanks for any info, specially if restore is %100 or not & if OS upgrades are done automatically via application manager.
