Nah, they need to save some fan favorites for Harmattan. However, the browser in Fremantle might ship with the spelling plug-in installed and enabled by default, and the dictionary files may include some appropriate customizations.

Let's say that there was so many "Fixed in Fremantle" tasks ongoing that they needed all Diablo team people to help on them. After everybody left the "Diablo room" they forgot that the door doesn't have a handle on the outside...

So people at Nokia do have a general problem with the correct handling of doors.

It's a shame, though. They're pissing right onto our faces (again!) and all I can think of as a revenge is shouting: "Can I buy the next Meamo device now, please? Please? Please, please, please?"

Humiliating.

That's "Fremantle" to you. Consider yourself "Generalized", so there :-)

more often then not it seems its more "totally rewritten from the ground up" then fixed, and therefor "impossible" to backport...

now if the tag/status read something like "no longer appliable in", it may be easier for some to grasp what was going on...

sadly I voted for never.

I raised a bug a year ago about ad-hoc networking, and although it was verified, and fixed. It was a very simple problem and probably not too hard to fix. I was told it wouldn't appear until next full release of maemo, but of course that was canned in favour of fremantle, so I don't expect it to ever be fixed.

We *might* be lucky and get a few bug fixes in the SSU, but only if it's critical security.

Sorry G-A but I don't have much faith in Nokia wanting to support existing customers, they're driven by commercial demands after all. However, I do have faith that ubuntu and mer might emerge as a credible alternative!

Only thanks to Nokia's efforts.
