Hello folks,

just wanted to leave a note that I did a fresh first time install of 0.4.2 on a N810 yesterday and got it working instantly. Thanks for all the efforts put so far!
I did this because I wanted to check if Slovoed Dictionarys work on this device, and so far I have no problems (which is really great, at least for me as I constantly need a good dictionary).
Of course there are a couple of rough edges, I surely miss sound and bluetooth... What worries me most for now is that the system gets more and more unresponsive if I start browsing (e.g. www.spiegel.de brings it nearly to a halt). If I run 3-6 applications (e.g. browser, email, settings, sudoku), I'm soon forced to reboot, because the tablet grinds to a halt. But as I said before, for running one application (boot, start slovoed, work with it), it already works great.
Now I'm off to look into fixing poweroff/reboot problems and checking for some more applications.

It seems one can fix the poweroff problem with this:

via adb shell remove the symlink to toolbox:
Then push this oneliner script named reboot to system/bin

with Afterwards my tablet powers off also using the menu appearing on long press of the power button.

Also there are quite a couple of applications working well (not thoroughy tested so far):

k9, aiMinesweeper, brain challenge lite, connectbot, sudoku, oi update, tnt maniac...

Also I hope that the wifi driver gets some powersaving enhancements, drains quite quickly

Perhaps somebody knows a way how to make a german keyboard work (esp. äüö)? Would be grateful for any help...

Is there really no way to use the android zImage with the already working bootmenu available for maemo/mer/deblet? This is so much needed...
