i've been trying to setup usb networking on the tablet but i can't get it to work. I downloaded a few packages like mameo-control-usb , usb-otg-plugin but none of these seem to work.
with the maemo-control-usb app i get a message "failed module insertion" message when clicking on the setup usbnet button.
with usb-otg-plugin the "desktop" of the tablet seems to crash when selecting usb network interface
i looked at the wiki http://wiki.maemo.org/USB_networking but still can't get it working.
anyone got it working on a nokia N810 and can give me a little help setting it up ? thanks
edit:
okay i managed to get a usb0 device to show up in ifconfig. and was able to configure it by insmod g_ether.ko and first unmounting the mmc2 but i can't seem to be able to get a usb0 device on my usbuntu system . Any ideas ?
Got It working :
Basicly you have to unmount the mmc's then insmod g_ether.ko (on the tablet) and add the entries listed on the wiki to your interfaces file. (on your computer)
