I'm just curious how many spare batteries other IT users have. Right now I have one that I swap out and then charge on my wall charger, convenient since it means I always have a fresh battery ready when my current one dies. I'm thinking of picking up a second spare for some traveling I'll be doing this summer, handy for those long airline flights.

So, how many spare batteries do you have? (Gadgets like those solar chargers count too, so if you have one please mention what you think of it.)

I have 4 batteries for my N800. Bought them so that I could continuously run my NIT all day while at jury duty (they have free WiFi).

Wow that's a lot Den! How do you charge so many batteries when you get back home again?

I had two batteries for my N800, but that's only because run time on the original battery had dropped to near zero. I kept it, but only used the new battery.

For my N810, I have a TekCharge MP1550. I purchased and used it for the Maemo Summit, but haven't used it since. I prefer it to the idea of swapping batteries though.

Normally 1 is charging in the NIT and 1 is charging in a charger that I bought on Ebay for about $10. Once that one is charged I rotate the other 2 batteries in that charger at home.

I have 1 in, 1 out and one in a 770 I mostly don't use.

Three Nokia batteries for my N800. I anticipated needing more than one for all-day use, but havn't. Wall charger stays at home, USB to narrow Nokia power plug keeps it charged while at work. Extra batteries get used only on trips involving long flights or drives. Occasionally, I change batteries if the unit drains to near empty at less than -30C, as my impression is that batteries hold charge better if at room temp for a day before charging.

One battery :-(. Buying a spare just seems too expensive. But as the original wears out, I'll probably buy another. Sometimes, my run time seems very short.

But I do have a solar charger for use when I'm traveling. So in c-cat's assesment, that makes two. www.solio.com

Due to a warranty fiasco, I ended up getting a new tablet shipped to me, without having to send back the accessories of the old one... :P Thus, I have two batteries, and I've also bought a 1600mAh external rechargeable battery from IOGear ($30 on clearance). As I don't have an external charger for the second battery, I haven't used it yet. I always carry my second charger in my cargo pockets (along with a million other cables and adapters), and between that and the IOGear pack, I don't have much of an issue. I figured I'd save the spare battery unless I really need it, as I might feel like selling it at some point, and it has currently never been used.

I have two batteries, one in and one out. Although, I am thinking about picking up a Mugen high capacity battery.
