I am selling my N810 holder and cover project. Cover is made for Nokia N810 to protect against dirt and water. Easy to follow GPS when driving. Holder is mounted using longer handlebar bolts. Holder can be mounted using 6mm or smaller bolts. Includes bolts for Jamis dakar xam 2.0 handle bar, bolts should go straight to several other models too. Cover is not totally waterproof. Touch screen can be used easily when cover is on.

Cover can be used to other GPS devices too, there is a little bit oom left with N810. It ain't no beautiful, but it is good and it's made for rough use!

Price 25 euros for holder and cover + shipping costs.

That is the coolest thing I have seen in a while. I live in Sendai Japan so I suspect the shipping from anywhere that uses Euros is going to be pricey. But I sent you an email anyways.

Very nice I have a plastic holder for paper maps in which both the GPS and N810 fit.
It is well covered by plastic so it can be used with rain as well.
And I have a cable to my dynamo for external power supply. Tonight I'll post a picture.

Thanks for good feedback. That is my fourth prototype and this one is working really nice. I am planning to do couple of these more and I will do holders for motorcyle and snowmobile too. I got too tired to seek GPS from pocket every time I stop.

I would really like to see yours plastic holder skatebiker. I am too planning to do a total waterproof cover, but it may take some time to get it done.

b.t.w., how does the n810 react to the vibrations from the bike?

I think that cover absorbs lot of vibrations, so N810 does not get lot of vibrations. I have padding to fill empty space behind the N810, that helps too with vibrations. In the other hand I have guite good shocks in my bike

Last summer I used N810 with original car mount in bike and motorcycle. I think that with original car mount kit N810 got a lot more vibrations, but my N810 is still working.
