How much disk space should I need to develop apps for fremantle?

I am mostly a windows user, so I bought an 8gig USB thumbdrive to install Ubuntu, Scratchbox, and the rest of the SDK tools. 7.1 GB have been used without installing the Nokia closed source binaries or Xephyr X11.

Can anyone clue me in, is 16 GB enough or do I need to go to 32 GB or even 64?

Thanks for the info.

You might want to remove a lot of the stuff in Ubuntu by default, like OpenOffice.org and Evolution to free up some space. Go to Applications > Add/Remove...

Xephyr and the Nokia closed binaries shouldn't take up that much more, IIRC. Certainly, compared with Scratchbox and the targets they're much smaller.

The Disk usage monitor misrepresented total space used on my flash drive.

Gparted shows 1.5 Gigs Free. So, I should be OK.

Thanks to both of you for your responses.
