Hi,
I am trying to connect my tablet to my new HTC Diamond but somehow I am not able to get it right.

I used the tablet before with many other phones i.e. SE, Nokia but never had this problem.

I am turning on bluetooth, internet sharing on my diamond and adding the device in trusted devices. Also, added Diamond as bluetooth device on the tablet.

Any help please??

Thanks...

What is your OS (and your tablet)?

Perhaps http://wiki.maemo.org/Bluetooth gives you a hint.

Is it possible that the HTC Diamond uses the PAM bluetooth protocol? If so, you will find instructions at http://wiki.maemo.org/Bluetooth

http://www.internettablettalk.com/wi...-_enabling_DUN, though the Diamond should have WM6.1

qgil already pointed to the Wiki page. You'll find a link to maemo-pan there. You will need to install this so that tethering works, as Bluetooth PAN (which is used by Windows Mobile) is not supported by maemo out-of-the-box.

I have the Diamond too, but a N770 OS2006. I have tried to connect both with Bluetooth, but without success. First connection was established without problems and the Diamond was detected as a dial-up device (my Diamond has DUN as available profiles, don't know about), but without file transfer or SIM access.
Well, I have activated SIM access and FTP / file transfer then but now the N770 can't connect to the Diamond anymore. Every try is canceld with the message there are no useable Bluetooth protocols available. Strange!

Regards,
Frank
