After several years of using and upgrading my n800 I decided to re-flash Diablo and start over.
It has gone mostly alright but a few of the apps that I used to be able to install are now giving me problems,
Beneath a steel sky
Flight of the Amazon Queen
GPE Calendar
won't install because of missing

libhildonfm2 (=1:2.0.5)

Advanced backlight
won't install because of

libhildondesktop0 =1:2.0.19-1)
libhildonwm0 (=1:2.018-1)

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure you flashed Diablo?

Yes, It looks and acts like it. Are these missing packages missing from my n800 or from the installer?

Does it look and act like it or is it actually the latest? Open up the Control Panel and tell me what About Product says.

Yeah, you're not up-to-date. Refer to the upgrade procedures and install 47-3.

Yes, it appears the good General got a bad paste there. Try "Updating the tablet firmware" from the maemo.org Wiki.

Thank you very much.
It downloaded in Quotes with ,attachment at the end (Mac OS). Since I am sometimes easily perplexed I went back one update which downloaded as a .bin, installed this then upgraded to 43-7 and all is well.
After chilling a bit I changed the name of the 43-7 downloaded file and it seems to function properly. I did not re-flash to prove the point however.
