oh, and the community is great!

Once, my computer died (because of vista service pack madness), and my tablet let me survive for two weeks, which was how long it took me to install Linux. Two months later I went back to Vista because i "upgraded" to ubuntu 8.10 (8.04 was boss though).

Yeah, as GA said, a computer in my pocket. It's also great that my N800 is always ready to take an SD card from someone and then just dump the content into the internal (large) card. Movable computing, movable data.

I love:

* The fact it has a keyboard (n810)
* The whole computer in my the pocket thing (i.e. I can run port and run 'proper' apps on it with little difficulty)
* Nice clear high DPI screen
* Small size (though I would happily have a slightly larger machine if it had a larger screen - 4.8" for example rather than the current 4.3")
* The fact it's largely opensource
* The fact that Nokia do in fact listen and improve

I love my N810 for it's small size, good screen resolution, and espacially for it's wireless capabilities. Oh and I often use it as MP3 player.

This community/website. The tablet is my first experience of Linux and over the past year I have learnt so much from you guys. I am now nearly a complete convert and have set up a dual boot on my laptop with Ubuntu. Love it and cannot wait for the new tablet.

I like that it has a real browser that can deal with Flash and JavaScript.

I love that it has apps like Maemo Mapper and Numpty Physics which exploit the strengths of the tablet.

The looks on people's face who cannot grasp desktop functionality in a phone form factor. Jokes aside, it's (real) linux in my pocket. That says it all.

I like how the browser has matured to the point that it can render just about any HTML code you can dream up to access just about any information available on a net or storage card.
