Me. Voted too quickly to notice that size != screen size, and it was multiple choice.

So one tick in "screen size", "size" and half a tick in "carrier lock-in" (carrier availability != carrier lock-in (hopefully))

I might be a lone wolf out there, but all I've been asking for is a faster processor for the N810 and that's about it. Maybe nokia maps would be nice, but overall, I love everything about the N810. All these big changes for a new tablet will only make me appreciate my N810 even more.

When I was actively using my tablet, I used to routinely use MicroB (and Opera, before that) in non-full-screen mode. It did just fine, even when reading these forums.

It works (I've done it before) but I prefer fullsizing it unless I'm multitasking (like IM). Though there are other things that I rather just have a bigger screen (video comes to mind). Or lots and lots of reading.

Well I hope you can buy this new maemo device unlocked as soon as its made available to the carriers. I dont remember the timing of many devices but as I recall the E71 was availabe in the US market the same time or prior to when AT&T released as the E71x. Krisse would know for sure about this aspect.

I voted for screen size and keypad. The 4-row keypad on the N810 is already bad for typing numbers. So a 3-row keypad will certainly be no better. I love the 5-row keypad on the G1.
The screen size is good for a phone, but I don't want another phone. I want a multimedia device that can do the stuff, I can't do on the phone, or don't want to because it would drain battery like hell.
A T-Mobile net lock wouldn't be too bad for me since my data plan SIM cards are T-Mobile. Having a real SIM lock would be bad, though.

Although it's at a much higher resolution, it hit me... the screen is closer to the Nintendo DSi (3.25in) than my N810 (4.1in).

That makes me sad.

Is it really true there will be no stand? The stand is amazingly useful. Not only does it prop the NIT up on a desk as its intended to, but when holding the NIT, the stand makes an easy to grab grip to prevent the NIT from falling... and you can do it with only one finger. I've been excited about the N900, but the screen, the locked carrier, 3 row keyboard and lack of a stand are breaking my heart here.
