Well, I have just discovered that with the last tear version, if the keyboard is open, the ESC key will jump back two pages instead of one, while with the keyboard closed it works as usual.

TrueJournals: Can you use 'pidof tear' instead of 'ps -ef | grep -v grep | grep tear'? It's a little quicker and returns the same exit codes as grep w.r.t if it's running/not running. Thanks.

Edit: and possibly review my fixes for the bookmark manager? http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=997

0.3.1-2 fixes that.

Do you plan to put tab browsing, like midory has? It would be very usefull. Also i have noted that libwebkit has a bug. All webkit based browsers (tear, midory and nokia´s using webkit-eal) crash when I press Ctrl+Backspace.

Why Qole´s repo doesn´t have the new 0.3.1-2, but the 0.3.1-1?

No tab browsing for now.

Qole's repo has 0.3.1-2, AFAIK.

Right, here are my recommendations/requests for Tear:
  • Add an option to show/hide the scroll bars. Especially when you use bigger ones, these can take up a lot of screen space, and I've found that they hide a large section of the screen in portrait mode.
  • The kinetic scrolling is brilliant. Though, to go one step further, try doing as the iPhone and Opera Mini do. By this, I mean if you scroll in a rough down direction, it will scroll only vertically. Maybe get it to ignore horizontal scrolling when doing a finger stroke between 170º to 190º, and 350º to 10º? And ignore vertical scrolling with finger strokes moving between 80º to 100º, and 260º to 280º. I'm not sure if that makes sense, if not, I could do a diagram to show what I mean.
  • The toolbar could be customised, with tick boxes and arrows to reorder the icons like with the panels section of the Control Panel.
Not sure if you'd think any of those are really necessary, but my ideas are there if you want to use them

New libwebkit with localStorage support:
http://bundyo.org/maemo/webkit/libwe...37-9_armel.deb
And for 770:

Just to clarify - the databases are stored in /media/mmc1/Databases.db.
There is one temp folder on /media/mmc1 too.
