I would like to know how to install ps1 on the n800. I have the libraries installed and the other dependencies needed but I do not know how to set/ where to put the config files. The pcsx runs but wont let me address config directories. Any help maybe a quick how to would be appreciated. I am currently using the diablo os2008 if that is any help.

Edit: Well after some poking around I found what I was lookinfg for.... now it just crashes...

I simply fail to see how a decent PSX emulator could run on a light power device like a N8xx tablet. It would be unusable, i think.

That's maybe why it's not actively developped ?

But a Super Famicon emulator should run very well ... I would love to see it ...

well, there are decent psx emulators on the gp2x, which is 290mhz, with 64 mb of ram, so it should be easily done an n8x0, with a 400mhz processor, and at least 128 mb of ram. there is no excuse for not having one.

Maybe we don't have the same idea of what is a decent emulation.
When your game runs between 4 and 12 fps ... it's not decent to me.

And don't forget that our NIT hardware spend some power in the OS too ... so you don't have full power available for your emulator. Another big problem is that hardware graphics acceleration doesn't seem to be usable ... if I remember correctly.

what about a petition for the 3d graphics that the n8x0 need? i bet with 200 or 300 signatures (and maybe a promisse of more n8x0 sales) they would think about our case... makint "old" gadgets can be unexpensive for nokia, and sell just great! well... i'm just dreaming

I think it woud take a lot more than 300 signatures to have any weight.

Moreover, N8xx are dead, a new hardware & software is expected, that will have better graphics capabilites.

Maybe you should consider buying the awfull PSP Go or simply a PSP.
Personnaly i got a DSi.
