What are the main features of Navigation Kit for Nokia N800 Internet Tablet?

The Navigation Kit conveniently helps the user find destinations and interesting locations. The Navigation Kit also takes advantage of the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet’s web functions. Can the N770 Navigation Kit be transferred to The N800?

Are there any upgrade path? The only difference between the N770 Nav.Kit and the N800 possibly are the programs, everything else (maps, sounds, GPS etc) are the same.

As you might guess I've recently bought the N770 Nav.Kit and I'm considering bying a N800, but obviously dont want to buy a new Nav.kit.

I’ve asked navicoretech,

they are working on a new version for the n800 with new features. The navisoft for the 2007 is not ready right now.
Probably they will provide a free update for the OS2007 edition but this is not decided yet.

Can anybody confirm, how owns a 770 navigation kit, that the software works on the OS2007 ?

Thanks for the link Kevin. I can't see a buy button, though from another post it looks like Navicore are still working on it.

Does anyone know if it is planned to be sold bundled with the N800 or sold separately?

I think the rest of the Nokia support and sales infrastructure is still playing catch-up now that the N800 is announced and available. Some accessories are shown as being available yet cannot be ordered, the OS 2007 Nav Kit seems to fall into the same boat.

I'd advise giving it another week or so for everyone at Nokia to get onto the same page before we give Nokia grief over the situation. After all, the N800 was only announced 5 days ago in Las Vegas!

Maybe Nokia will have learned how to launch a product along with all their "ducks in a row" when they launch the N900?
