qwerty12: Please, can you fix the situation? Extras-devel is a useless place for those libraries. I can tell 'newbies' to add Chinook repos, but I wouldn't dare tell them to add Extras-devel.

I'm surprised that they aren't fully promoted actually. I don't see why they shouldn't be promoted as I think e2fsprogs has been tested enough now.

I'll be happy to promote them in the morning when I'm on a computer but if you wish to do it now (I believe you've got Extras upload permissions too )..

Ah, you upload to non-free (not by choice).

It's pretty easy: go to https://garage.maemo.org/promoter/diablo and find the e2fsprogs section and tick it (and its dependencies) to be uploaded.

Er,you mean that i add the Extras-devel,and use apt-get to install the libs such as e2fslibs,etc..?

Just wait a bit -- qwerty12 will fix it so you can get it from Extras.

apt-get install e2fsprogs

EDIT: I just followed qwerty12's instructions, so they should be available soon!

well,apt-get can find e2fsprogs,but there is two depends libs,libcomerr2 and libss2.apt-get can't find them,any suggestion?
