Haven't really seen anything about the next generation of NIT and was just wondering what it could potentially have, especially after reading all of the impressive specs of the iPhone 3Gs and the Palm Pre.

screen - I'd prefer a slightly larger screen than the current NIT and small sizes of the Pre and iPhone.
Arm Cortex A8 (A9 once available) - the OMAP 2420 is so aged compared to the current selection.
Accelerometer
multi-touch
native microsdhc
working flash with better camera/webcam
battery charging through micro-usb port
size - it would be nice if current techology could allow for the non-screen area of the NIT to be smaller and the whole device to be a tad thinner.

Am I asking for too much? I don't think this is completely a unattainable device. Am I missing anything? Have there been any leaks of the successor to the N810?

All of them except the screen size should be present in the Rover.

Keep the same physical dimension of N810, about 5.04 in x 2.75 in, but increase screen size to do away with the borders, that will give a screen size of 5.5 in, my dream form factor...it is NOT going to happen , that is why I called it 'dream' form factor
