I believe this is just the HTC-Hero named as the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G but just in case it hasn't been seen here it is with the countdown timer:

The MyTouch is the HTC-Magic. In the US it's sold by T-Mobile as the MyTouch3G. In some countries in Europe it's sold by Vodafone since May or so.
It's not the HTC-Hero.

Yep... due to licensing the HTC Hero won't have "with Google" branding either. This is the HTC Magic as pycage stated earlier.

Nice but it needs an ARMv7 chip, I found it to be too slow compared to the Pre and 3GS. Android is simply amazing though, can't wait to see the 2.0 devices like the Xperia.

Ironically Hero is better than the Magic. It seems HTC is doing a better job with Android than Google is..

HTC has a lot of practice with putting polish on an OS (look at WinMobile). Imagine what they could do with android after a few years.

I wish T-Mobile Germany would take Android phones as serious as their US daughter does. Too bad that the iPhone is also with T-Mo here. They hardly do any advertising for the G1... they don't like Android compete with iPhone.

Why would they care if they compete? They both make money for the company. Or is there some thing special about the iPhone plan that makes it more lucrative?

Android is still for nerdy people unfortunately (us).

It's not quite polished enough yet, and it really needs better hardware than it's been given to stretch it's legs. The multitasking, and browsing are a bit sluggish. It will get more attention in a year or two when it's ready for consumers

How do you switch views when multitasking on G2 Android? Is it similar to the Pre button for card view?
